KOMAN Holdings is proud to announce a significant improvement in our Experience Modification Rate, EMR, a key indicator of workplace safety. Previously a 0.76, the change to 0.72 reflects our dedication to fostering a culture of safety and efficiency across all operations.
“This improvement is a direct result of our employees’ dedication to safety protocols and best practices,” said Mike Taylor, Safety Director for KOMAN Holdings. “Our safety team, led by Safety Managers Jeanette Baldwin and Jeremy Newland, along with our Site Safety Health Officers (SSHOs), have all done an incredible job building on that culture of safety.”
KOMAN Holdings credits this improvement to the ongoing implementation of comprehensive safety training, regular audits, and a company-wide commitment to best practices. These include Daily Safety Meetings held by SSHOs, Weekly Safety Toolbox Talks, Monthly Safety Lunch and Learns, Daily and Weekly Safety Audits, and On-demand Safety Trainings specifically designed to meet our customers’ needs.
“Reducing our EMR from 0.76 to 0.72 may seem like a small change, but it reflects the substantial progress our employees have taken towards creating a safer, more efficient, and financially sound workplace,” Taylor said. “We’re doing our part to send everyone home in the same condition they arrived.”
